The diverse habitats surrounding Pourvoirie Windigo offer excellent conditions for hunting various small game species, including ruffed grouse, Canada grouse (commonly referred to as “black partridge”), and snowshoe hare.
The area is crossed by numerous roads and trails, giving you the option to hunt on foot, by ATV, or by truck. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hunter, small game hunting is enjoyable, accessible, and suited for all skill levels. This type of hunt lets you appreciate the wildlife, flora, and beautiful scenery of the rich boreal forest—an ideal activity to recharge and breathe in the fresh air!
Until Thanksgiving weekend, you can combine small game hunting with fishing. Boat, motor, and first tank of gas rentals are available.
